- Very simply mad about plants. I just can't help it - if there is a new plant on the nursery, then I just have to get one for my garden! I am an old-fashioned country boy - a farmer's son - of old Suffolk farming stock. I see the world as far from black and white - I say what I think in most cases - you gain nothing from bottling things up! My weakness is probably not knowing when to say No - I tend to be a workaholic sometimes - and it is not always good for me-it makes me tired and irritable. It's an age thing you know!!
